Thomas Danz understands leadership and change from first-hand experience. Before moving into executive search in 2007, he spent many years in senior positions at renowned media companies, where he helped shape major transformation processes.
He has been a Partner at TOPOS in Hamburg since 2014. He recruits executives for industries that are particularly shaped by technological progress, new business models and changing market conditions. These include media, education, e-business, software and other digital sectors, as well as the MedTech industry. Although these markets may appear very different at first glance, they place similar demands on their leaders: they require individuals who understand technological developments, think commercially and are capable of implementing change throughout an organisation.
Thomas Danz combines his own leadership experience with an extensive cross-industry network built over many years. This enables him to reach candidates who are not actively looking for a new position. His aim is not to make the most obvious appointment, but to find the person who is the right fit, both professionally and personally.
