For more than 35 years, Stefan Koop has been a recognized figure in top executive search. His advisory approach is defined by methodological rigor, strong interpersonal sensitivity, and a deep understanding of complex organizational structures.
He is regarded as a trusted partner for filling senior leadership roles, particularly in the public sector, the media industry, and the upper mid-sized business segment.
Holding a degree in engineering and an additional qualification as a systemic business coach, he began his career as an officer in the German Armed Forces before moving into industry, where he led sales in the specialty optics division at Carl Zeiss. His transition into executive search grew out of an intensive engagement with leadership and entrepreneurial responsibility.
Professional milestones at Mülder & Partner in Hamburg and as Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates ultimately led him to become a partner at DELTA Management Consultants GmbH, which he successfully co-led as Managing Partner for more than two decades.
Today, he contributes his experience and expertise as a member of the Advisory Board at TOPOS, supporting the firm with strategic perspective and in-depth market insight.
