From out in the field

From field sales to a degree in business administration to human resources consulting: This is a summary of the career path of Barbara Bodenhausen, who has been part of the team at TOPOS Personalberatung in Hamburg since 2016.

After an apprenticeship in industrial business management, Barbara Bodenhausen started her career in field sales for a producer of capital goods, where she was promoted to deputy branch manager. Working during the day, studying at night: Barbara conquered this dual challenge as she earned her degree in business administration. This is also how she entered the world of human resources consulting in 1997: At Baumgartner & Partner, her primary responsibilities were consumer goods, insurance, industry and retail. Starting in 2004, she proved her skill in building an international human resources consulting firm as part of a management buyout, which now benefits TOPOS Personalberatung’s customers.
